Meet our 2024 Signature Award winners

Each year, SONIFI Solutions, Inc. recognizes the best qualities among employees with our Signature Awards. Anyone in the company can nominate an employee for their contributions to supporting SONIFI’s staff and customers.

There are six awards that represent a commitment to the company’s values, celebrating all the ways employees reflect who SONIFI is and what we believe in.

Here are the winners of SONIFI’s 2024 Signature Awards:

SONIFI Signature Award winner Landon White

Landon White

Senior Business Analyst

Winner of the Challenge & Curiosity Award

for unwavering dedication to learning, problem solving, improving, evolving, exploring new ideas, and always asking what else is possible

Excerpt from Landon’s award nomination:

Landon is a highly responsive and intelligent business analyst who supports SONIFI’s complex operational functions. His timely and effective analyses have enabled SONIFI to measure and improve multiple priorities this year.

Landon’s high-quality, prompt, and easy-to-digest analyses have facilitated high-impact decisions for things like business process outsourcing and product line support.

Landon implemented new dashboards that provide better scheduling and workload visibility for the implementation team, resulting in efficient and accurate project assignments. He also assisted our technical assistance center with staffing models to forecast and improve call wait times, optimizing schedules and hiring needs.

He is data-driven, self-motivated, and curious, always looking to learn new skills and improve his efficacy. Landon is forward-looking and understands the big picture, while also paying attention to the details for execution. He’s a pleasure to work with and has truly made an impact on our company’s decision making.

SONIFI Signature Award winner Joan Jackson

Joan Jackson

Senior Salesforce Engineer

Winner of the Collaboration Award

for demonstrating leadership in creating environments that celebrate creative ideas, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and collective success

Excerpt from Joan’s award nomination:

Joan has been an incredible collaborator for our Salesforce team. She was instrumental in mission-critical projects to assist in the efficiency and expansion of our technical assistance center and network operations center.

Joan was central to a major uplift of our Service Cloud instance. Her excellent memory and extensive Salesforce experience mitigated risks and helped business teams make effective decisions to improve agents’ experiences.

Joan’s superb domain understanding and consultative approach have been key to seeing how the Salesforce tool can better serve SONIFI’s business needs. As the most central tool that we use in all of our customer-facing operations, the need to understand and optimize our Salesforce instance is of vital, strategic, and tactical importance.

While someone could easily get bogged down with the level of detail that must be heeded in her function, Joan is able to think about both the forest and the trees and contribute patiently and positively to ensure that we avoid tactical errors and efficiently approach issues.

Nathan Buchholz

Principal Sustaining Engineer

Winner of the Customer Enrichment Award

for enhancing customer interactions and employee experiences, improving satisfaction, and continually exceeding expectations

Excerpt from Nathan’s award nomination:

Just weeks into his role, Nathan stepped up to handle a critical issue with one of our large customers. Nathan worked tirelessly late into the evenings and over weekends to provide the customer with stability and reach resolution with another vendor partner.

He provided extensive support to the customer, keeping their guest experience as the top priority. Through constant communication with the hotel staff and internal teams, Nathan spearheaded troubleshooting efforts and escalated the case with other partners for additional support.

He worked outside normal business hours troubleshooting, monitoring network stability, and intervening to prevent outages of equipment at the property.

All of the above was exceptional work, but confidently diving in to handle this escalation after only being at SONIFI for little more than a month shows Nathan’s above-and-beyond dedication to serving our customers.

Chantel Hudelson

Director of Key Accounts

Winner of the Financial Star Award

for exceptional work and consistently reliable insights that positively impact SONIFI’s stewardship, business results, and financial performance

Excerpt from Chantel’s award nomination:

Chantel, our top sales executive this year, excels at creating great customer relationships by collaborating closely with our technical and implementation teams to ensure what we’re offering will be successful at the property.

Chantel pushes boundaries, while engaging the team for input and collaboration, on how we can collectively serve even more customers. She has been a resourceful leader and sounding board for her colleagues, offering advice and best practices to help us grow.

Chantel is well-prepared and proactive, approaching customers with mutual best interests in mind. We are fortunate to have her continually contributing to the growth and retention of our customer base.

Jeff Taylor

Director of Technical Support Operations

Winner of the SONIFI Champion Award

for being a fierce supporter and passionate advocate of SONIFI by helping colleagues, customers, and our company succeed

Excerpt from Jeff’s award nomination:

On a day-to-day basis, Jeff works through countless customer situations, diffusing difficult moments, and helping to restore services and relationships on behalf of SONIFI. Internally, Jeff has contributed to hiring, retaining, and supporting the technical support team in elevating their collective efforts to uphold customer satisfaction.

Technical support is one of the most difficult and important functions within the company. Customers are calling because there is some difficulty they are encountering — and every call is an opportunity to delight or disappoint the customer.

Jeff leads with professionalism, poise, and pragmatism, inspiring his team to build their technical support skills while addressing issues as promptly and as effectively as possible.

In the past year, we’ve seen substantial improvement in wait times, first-call resolution rates, and relationships with key customers. In collaboration with other key members of the team, Jeff has been able to instill a sense of progress with the team.

SONIFI makes the best technology. But it’s the best people who make SONIFI.
